Do you have any references or testimonials to support your claim of the quality you provide?
Yes, please ask if you would like to see letters from satisfied customers, I would be pleased to show them to you.
What will the quality of my wedding album be like?
I use state of the art photographic equipment of the highest quality, which guarantees your photographs will be of the highest quality that is available, produced in the finest beautifull italian wedding albums. An example of these albums will be shown to you when I visit you to talk about how I can photograph your special day. The appointment to visit you will not place you under any obligation.
What are the options?
I offer three basic packages, see the Pricing page to give you detail in relation to what packages are on offer, these can be discussed in how they can be tailored to suit the type of album and photographs you would like.
Can I decide my own package without a wedding album?
Of course you can, we can mix and match and come to an agreement
Our wedding day is our special day, how can you guarantee that you wont get in the way?
Good point! I advise that we visit the location at no extra cost where you plan to get married, as well as the location you intend to hold the reception. This allows us to plan what photographs you would like taken, and importantly where you would them taken. I would also advise that we have a “Plan A” for sunny weather and a “Plan B” for wet weather. Come rain or shine, I will create high quality images that will record your day.
How do you guarantee nothing will go wrong with our photographs?
Another good point! I back everything up, from having a second camera at hand just incase the unlikely scenario of the first camera suddenly deciding it’s going to have a bad day, which is incredibly unlikely to happen, as I use Nikon equipment, and those who know, will tell you that Nikon produces some of the best and most reliable SLR camera’s in the world. I also back up all my images on two separate hard drives. One of them is in California and provided by Apple computers, the other is my Apple “Time Capsule”, specifically used for back up and nothing else.
Do you take black and white photographs as well as colour?
Every Portrait and wedding photograph is also offered in black and white, as well as in colour
What happens after my photographs have been taken?
Post processing is just as important as actually taking your wedding photographs. Once your images have been taken I then spend several days processing them digitally to produce the final prints ready for your tailored album.
How do I get to see what my Wedding Album will look like?
After your album has been designed, you will be offered the opportunity to give your final approval before your album is made.
How do I get to view my Wedding Photographs?
I believe you should be able to view your prints in private and in your own time. So I have ensured that my website can accommodate private individual web pages that only you can see. I will e-mail you a link that will take you directly to your personal webpage, if you would like other people to see your photographs, then all you need to do is forward them the link that I have sent you.
I dont have access to my own personal computer, or the internet / My computer is very slow
This is not a problem, I can send you a “Contact Sheet” through the post. A contact sheet is a collection of all your images in small sizes printed on a sheet of A4 photographic paper. The average contact sheet will accomodate 30 images, so therefore several contact sheets may be required depending upon the amount of photographs have been taken and processed.
A fee of £7 per A4 contact sheet is charged for this service,
What are the standard sizes of the wedding photographic prints you produce?
A4, however you can order different sizes if you wish.
What are the options in relation to how my photographs are printed?
All photographic prints are printed on the Epson Pro 3800 large format printer, which is a proffesional printer designed specificaly for the production of photographic prints of the highest quality. printed on high quality 225g/m’s Epson photographic paper.
How long will my printed photographs last?
A life time with proper care, I use Epson's Ultra chrome K3 ink system which guarantees that the ink does not fade. However I would always recommend that all prints of any kind should avoid being placed directly in the sun
You give the options of size of your prints from A5 up to A2, can I stipulate the size of our wedding print to fit a frame?
Yes you can. I only use the basic “A” guide as a price guide, as the paper I use is produced in these sizes, so if you ask me to produce a print in a certain size, I then match the paper size closest to it and then trim the print to the size you require. It is also worth mentioning that your photographs are cropped in relation to the image, as each photograph is taylor made, therefore the image may not fit exactly to the size you may give, however they will be made to fit within the sizes you give, so they will sit comfortably in the frame you have waiting.
Customer questions related to Portrait Photography
Do you have any references or testimonials to support your claim of the quality you provide?
Yes, please ask if you would like to see letters from satisfied customers, I would be pleased to show them to you.
What are the options?
You may choose to have your photographs produced in the traditional form of prints, however modern digital photography will also enable you to to have your photographs produced in the form of either a softback or hardback book, please ask me what are the options in relation to this, however the prices page will provide you a basic guide to what style of books and albums are available.
Where do you take your Family Portraits?
All my equipment is mobile, so I can photograph your portraits by visiting you at your home, or the location you are using for your family or social event.
What is the advantage of having my photographs taken at home?
It is quite common for people to feel a little self conscious when they are having their photograph taken, and especially if the photographer is unknown to them. However, customers tell me that by having their portrait taken in their own home can help them relax in front of the camera. You may also be pleased to know, that I am not the most formal person you could meet, and I love the process of photography, so therefore your session should be about fun, as much as it is taking that perfect photograph.
How long does it take for my photographs to be taken?
This can depend on the amount of photographs you would like to have taken, however the average portrait session usually takes 20 minutes to set up, 30 minutes to take your photographs, and 20 minutes to pack away. You are also welcome to to visit me if you would prefer your photographs taken outside of your home.
Does the duration of the session effect the price?
No, not at all, the basic call out price of £70 remains the same. which includes One free A4 size print.
Are their any hidden charges?
No. Unfortunately some photographers will entice people with what appears to be an attractive package at a reasonable rate, for customers only to find that the final fee for what is being offered can be a very different from the sum that was originally quoted. My prices are what they say they are, with no extra’s fee’s included.
Would you mind if I invited some friends along to have their portraits done in the same session?
No not at all, the more the merrier.
How much room do you need to set up your equipment?
The average living room is usually ample space for me to work in for a normal session, some furniture may need to be moved to create some space, however I promise Ill put it all back to how it was. If your photography session will include several people at the same time, then this may take up a little more space than usual, however its very common to find a solution to the problem. If the you are considering a large family shoot that may contain a small group of people, then we can usually find an alternative location, such as hiring a local village hall.
What should I wear, when I have my Portraits taken?
You should try to wear what you feel comfortable in, some people may wish to dress in their favourite clothes if it is a special occasion, however it is quite common for people to wear casual clothing, its totally up to you.
Im not used to having my portrait taken, what should I do?
First of all don’t worry, Its highly unusual for the first frames of the session to capture the final images that you may wish to choose. What usually happens is that you will relax and eventually find your own comfortable position. I may offer a couple of suggestions to help you, however I will work around you, not the other way around. You may also like to have a look at the type of photographs you like and show them to me as an example to what we can capture. The cameras that I use will show you what has been taken immediately after the shot, so you can get an idea how the image is looking
Do I need to avoid wearing certain colours?
No not at all, even if you choose a black backdrop and choose to wear black clothing, this is not a problem
What are the choices of backgrounds when taking Portraits?
If your Portraits are to be taken in a setting that you have chosen for a special occasion, then I would recommend that we visit the location (at no extra cost) before your special day. This will enable us to plan where we can take your photographs.
If you would like your Portrait taken at home, then you may wish to choose either a white or black backdrop. please view some of the examples in my Portrait Gallery to give you an idea what you may like to choose.
Do you take black and white photographs as well as colour?
Every Portrait and wedding photograph is also offered in black and white, as well as in colour

Your private web page will be available on line for a month after the the link to your web page has been e-mailed to you. However your images will be kept up to a year, incase you would like to re order them for occasions such as Christmas and Birthdays etc.
What happens If I don’t like any of the Photographs that have been taken?
In short, nothing. I am quite confident in my abilities as a photographer, and I believe that it is unlikely that you will not like the images I produce. As promised I employ a no fee policy if you do not wish to place an order even if you have called me out.
